What Customers Say About LeapFrog® ClickStart Educational Software: Backyardigans: Number Pie Samurai:

I don't think everything my toddler does has to be educational. There is value in plain old fun and entertainment and that's what this game is. My daughter kinda makes up her own rules in the games and enjoys the sound effects. The Clickstart system in general is teaching my kid how to navigate a keyboard, which I appreciate.

Although I'm not sure how much educational content is present in this cartridge, my daughter has enjoyed playing it. I'd give it a slightly above-average level of replayability, i.e. she didn't lose interest in it immediately, but it didn't last as long as some of the other cartridges she has, like the Dora one. She did become a ninja for a few weeks, saying, "Hai-ya." and karate-kicking her way around the house.

mY gRAND IS 18 MOS SHE LOVES THIS, SHE WAKES UP ASKING FOR 'her computer"SHE HAS DORA WHO MOST GIRLS LOVE AND WILL STAY ON IT UNTIL WE ARE REALL TO LEAVE FOR DAYCARE. (HER MOTHER AND FATHER ARE IN IRQUA TOLD ME IT WAS TOO OLD FOR HHER) SHE CAN COUNR TO 20 KNOWS ALL HER A B C 'S AND WILL TEACH U HER GAME LOVE IT

We purchased this game hoping for educational fun for our 3 year old. He has been able to recognized his numbers from 1-10 for sometime now and the games are simply too easy. Once again we think Leapfrog has missed the mark on the Clickstart games. It takes our child all of a minute to master any and all of the Clickstart games. Leapfrog needs to make some more advanced games for this system and put year rating of 2-4. I would hope that anyone of the age of 5 and entering Kindergarten is way beyond these games.

This is doing 1-9.I highly recomend the clickstart to anyone, and while a 5 or 6 year old would master this game instantly, it is VERY good for the preschool age child of 3 & 4. This game actually is very matched to skills that are age appropriate for a 3 or 4 year old.

It has 3 games, but they are games that evolve and advance to harder levels. For example, the cathing items in the basket game -- whatever it is called, starts with item recognition and uses the arrow keys to get say 'apples' instead of butter or cherries. This is my daughter's favorite game.

The same applies for the pie kicking game. Eventually it goes to can you get the apples with the '6' so you need to recognize your numbers.

There is a lot of recognizing numbers going on in this game. For example, in my daughter's preschool, they are working on number recognition of 1-5.

It is fun too, my daughter would rather play this than watch TV.
